Making you read a certain title that you dislike, will likely cause you to hate reading, seeing it as a "chore" instead of being something benefical and pleasurable to do. 5. Reading can help self-esteemLast but not least, reading is a great confidence booster. Why, you ask? Simply because others around us can do it. Someone who can't read properly will often feel inferior to those who can. The good news is that most people in civilised countries can read properly, the bad news is that the few people that can't do it, will fill overly inferior and will turn to other ways to compensate.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------As a closing argument, I would like to say that reading is vital to our current ways of life.
